What are my coins
worth?
DO NOT CLEAN OR POLISH YOUR COIN under any circumstances. It will
significantly lower the value!
You can find coin values on the web at:
http://www.pcgs.com/prices/
Keep in mind that these are retail prices (and a little high at that). If
you are selling to a dealer, you can expect to receive offers from dealers that
are a significant percentage off these values.
Condition is often a driving factor in value.
Before you plan to retire on the coin found in your fathers sock drawer,
consider these typical coin offers from dealers:
Morgan dollars 1878-1921 in average condition are worth $9
Peace dollars 1921-1935 in average condition are worth $8
Some dates/mint marks or die varieties are worth significantly more.
VAMs or die varieties can add a significant premium over a common price coin.
Unfortunately, I can't maintain a comprehensive price list for all VAMs here.
If you have something you urgently need assistance with, contact me and I'll try
my best to get back to you with any info I may have.
