1921S VAM-1B2
Discovered by John Kohut, December 2003
VAM-1B2 has the characteristic die gouge in the gap. The right side of
the wheat leaf is still intact.

A small gouge above the N in UNUM is present in the denticles.

There are heavy polishing lines in the field and the VAM-1B1 die gouge
out the back of the cap has been polished away.

All the VAM-1B coins share the same
characteristic die gouge between the leaf and the cap. It is visible with
the naked eye and is useful when checking a lot of coins while
cherry-picking.
